Preparing for your Cat's Stay at Crowbank

Preparing for your cat's stay at Crowbank Cattery is simple. We’ll guide you through everything — from securing your booking and confirming vaccinations to packing their food, medication, and a few home comforts — so the process is easy and stress-free.

Our peaceful countryside setting and experienced team help even the shyest cats feel settled soon after they arrive.

Whether it’s your cat’s first visit or one of many, we’re here to make things as straightforward as possible for both of you.

Booking Process

We recommend booking early to secure your cat’s spot, especially during busy holiday periods.

The easiest way to book is through our online booking system — just choose your dates, check our availability calendar, complete our request form, and we’ll confirm your booking by email.

To confirm your reservation, we ask for a deposit of £30 (or 50% of the booking fee - whichever is lower). Deposits are refundable within 7 days of payment, after which they become non-refundable. If you need to cancel, please give us at least 14 days’ notice to avoid full charges.

We’re happy to take bookings by phone, but as our office isn’t staffed full-time, phone bookings may take a little longer to process.

If you have a question or need to change your booking, the quickest way to reach us is by emailing info@crowbank.co.uk.

Vaccinations and Health Requirements

For the health and safety of all our guests, we ask that:

  • Vaccinations: All cats are fully vaccinated, including their annual boosters.
  • Neutering: Male cats over six months old are neutered.
  • Parasite treatment: All cats must be treated for worms, ticks and fleas using vet-prescribed treatments, administered at least 7 days before check-in.

Please provide proof of vaccination by either:

  • Uploading an image of your cat’s vaccination card before arrival, or
  • Bringing the card with you at check-in.

What to Bring

To help your cat feel comfortable during their stay, please bring:

  • A secure cat carrier – required for safe transport.
  • Vaccination card – unless you’ve already uploaded it online.
  • Medications (if needed) – in the original packaging with a clear vet label.
  • Their usual food – recommended if your cat is on a special diet or can be fussy.

Optional comfort items:

  • A small blanket or toy from home.
  • A grooming brush.
  • Their own bed if they have a strong preference for it.

We provide cosy bedding, scratching posts, litter trays, and high-quality food for every guest. There’s no need to bring bowls, litter, or bedding unless you prefer to use your own.

Directions and Location

Our cattery is situated in a peaceful countryside location just outside Cumbernauld, providing a calm and secure environment for your cat’s stay. We are easily accessible from Cumbernauld and the surrounding areas.

Get online directions from Google Maps and if you require any additional assistance in finding us, please do not hesitate to contact us.

We also offer a pick-up and drop-off service from Cumbernauld and surrounding areas. This service is available for an additional charge. If you require transportation for your pet, please contact us in advance to make arrangements.

Arrival and Check-in

To help things run smoothly, your booking confirmation will include a check-in time. Please aim to arrive at that time to avoid delays. If the slot doesn’t suit you, let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to arrange an alternative.

When you arrive:

  • Make sure your cat is in a secure carrier before coming into reception.
  • Our team will check vaccination records and confirm any dietary or medication needs.
  • We’ll then settle your cat into their chalet.

If your cat is shy or has special requirements, let us know ahead of time so we can be ready for them.

If you have any questions or special requests, feel free to contact us before your cat’s stay. We look forward to welcoming them to Crowbank Cattery and making sure they’re comfortable and well cared for.

I would highly recommend Crowbank, we have used Crowbank for our dogs and cats. Our dogs are regular visitors and they genuinely love the staff and the kennels so much. You can tell that the staff genuinely care about the animals in their care, even our reactive dog is at ease here, we would never go anywhere else. In fact, we have rescheduled a holiday before just so we could use Crowbank. I think one of the most important things when looking for a place to board your animals is trust and we absolutely trust them with our animals.
We are fairly regular customers of Crowbank Kennel and would highly recommend them. Our dog Finn loves going there and we trust them 100% to look after him as if he is their own. We would have no hesitation in recommending them and have done to friends and family used them before we did.Emma
Really glad we came across Crowbank who took fantastic care of our cat Finn. We were really worried about putting Finn in to a cattery for this first time but the care he received was fantastic and the set up they had was absolutely fantastic and so spacious.
Thank you
Thank you so much for taking such great care of Ziggy, while we were on holiday. This is the second time we've used Crowbank, and I really wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others 😊
first time using Crowbank for our golden retriever Archie. He had the best time playing with his new friends. Staff were all amazing and super friendly with myself, assuring me that Archie would be safe and healthy here. We plan on using them again soon. I would highly recommend this place 🥰
100% recommend Crowbank. Brodie has been going since a pup for boarding and day care. He’s so well looked after by the excellent and friendly team. He loved spending time with his daycare buddies.
10/10 cannot recommend enough!

The staff are always very welcoming upon arrival & do everything they can for a smooth handover for our nervous rescue pup.
Since adding another rescue to our family we recently tried her out too & she got on fab. Cute pictures on their Instagram kept us updated & put our mind at ease. You can tell how much the dogs mean to them & take great care of the pups with lots of playtime!

Even when we recently struggled with car trouble picking up our dogs, Crowbank were amazing & organised a very last minute drop off for over an hour round trip & for that we are so grateful.

We’re not even that local but have tried a few spots before but Crowbank by far exceeds them being professional yet super passionate in what they do. Grateful to have found them.
My dog Lucy has been Going here since a pup and loves the play time and free running , I can go away and enjoy my break knowing she is having the best holiday too have recommend to friends who all say exactly the same the team are amazing 🤩
Kylar had her 1st holiday at Crowbank this weekend and had a great time. Can't thank you guys enough for looking after her and introducing her to her new pals! She is already looking forward to the young ladies club 🐾 x
100% recommend Crowbank kennels. 1st time we used them our dog Zak was crying when we left him. it was heartbreaking. Next time we left him. The young girl who came to meet us shouted on Zak from a distance and he ran to her incredibly happy to see her and didn't even look back at us and walked away with her like she was his best friend. There's no better way to see your dog is well looked after than that. The entire set up is so gd. From the kennels themselves to the feeding regime and exercise areas as well as the location for long wooded walks. We are so glad Crowbank was recommended to us. Thank you for how well you look after my baby
