Our kennels are located in a peaceful countryside spot just outside Cumbernauld, Glasgow, offering a secure and comfortable retreat for your dog while you’re away. We provide a range of kennel options to suit different needs, all designed to keep your dog cozy and relaxed.
Our Standard Kennels
Our spacious standard kennels are designed to accommodate even large dogs comfortably. They are also suitable for two small or medium dogs from the same family.
Each kennel has an indoor sleeping area and an adjoining outdoor run, allowing dogs to move freely between the two areas during the day.
The indoor area is heated and includes soft, fresh bedding to ensure warmth and comfort. Each kennel also comes with a privacy curtain to create a cozy, stress-free environment.
Our Family Kennels
For families with larger dogs, our family kennels provide additional space. These kennels comfortably accommodate small families, two large dogs or a single giant breed.
Like our standard kennels, they feature a heated indoor space with soft bedding and an outdoor run where your pets can enjoy fresh air during the day.

Our Deluxe Kennels
For those looking for something a little extra, our deluxe kennels offer a more spacious and private setting with a homely feel.
Each kennel includes:
- A human bed for a cosy night’s sleep
- A living flame fire display to create a warm, relaxed atmosphere
- A short evening stroll so your dog can settle before bedtime
As with all our guests, we provide plenty of personal attention — and these added comforts make the deluxe kennels a spacious, homely setting for dogs who enjoy a little extra comfort and privacy.
Dog Boarding Daily Activities
At Crowbank Boarding Kennels, we ensure that every dog enjoys a structured, engaging routine and meets their individual needs.
Daily Schedule
- 08:00 Staff arrive and open hatches. All kennels are thoroughly cleaned while the dogs enjoy a morning walk or a relaxed potter in the outdoor play areas.
- 09:30 Breakfast is served, with any morning medications given as needed.
- 10:00 A longer walk — often in our large field with walking paths or on forest trails — or a one-to-one or small-group play session in the secure play areas, tailored to each dog’s age, energy level, and preferences.
- 12:30 Lunch break for staff and dogs — a quiet rest period in the kennels.
- 14:00 The third outing of the day, with another walk or play session.
- 16:30 Dinner service.
- 17:00 Dishes are collected, the kitchen is cleaned, and everything is prepared for the following day.
- 17:30 Staff depart for the evening. During good weather, dogs have free access to their outdoor runs.
- Late Evening Bedtime Routine The owners settle the dogs with treats and cuddles, while soft music or bedtime stories play to help everyone relax. Hatches are dropped, curtains drawn, and lights turned out for the night.
Exercise & Play
We provide a variety of exercise and play options to keep your dog active and engaged. Our facilities include:
- Two large grass play areas for off-leash exercise.
- A softwood bark area with agility equipment.
- Extensive, mown pathways around our large field
- An indoor play space with ball pits and tunnels for poor weather conditions.
We tailor all activities to match your dog’s personality and energy levels. Where appropriate, social dogs can enjoy group play, while those who prefer a quieter environment can opt for individual play sessions or peaceful walks through the countryside.
Mental Enrichment
We believe that mental stimulation is just as important as physical exercise. Our enrichment activities include:
- Puzzle games and Kongs to engage the mind.
- One-on-one staff interaction for cuddles and attention.
- Soothing music and bedtime stories to create a calm environment at night.
